How to submit your annual report (quick guide)
For department heads, committee chairs, and board members. One submission covers one organization. Print this page or save it as a PDF from your browser (see bar above).
1. Pick one path: write here or upload
- Write my report here — the site is your editor: standard sections (mission, accomplishments, goals, etc.), formatting, and optional charts or photos.
- Upload a completed report — best when you already have a polished PDF or Word file. You still fill in organization name and contact info. The report body comes from your file only; the town adds standard book framing around your chapter without redesigning the inside of your PDF.
You choose one source for the narrative: the editor or your uploaded file. Once you start typing or pick report files, the other path locks until you use Switch submission method (which clears that work so the two paths never mix).
2. Organization & contact
- Use the official name (agenda, website, letterhead).
- The portal assigns the current intake year automatically when you submit.
- Email — only for a follow-up question from staff; it’s not a mailing list.
3. Report body (depends on step 1)
- Write my report here — click in each box, use bold and lists if helpful; paste from Word if you drafted there first. Optional figures with captions.
- Upload a completed report— no narrative boxes; attach at least one full PDF and/or Word file in step 4. Multi-page PDFs are OK. The book may add standard framing around your chapter; it won't redesign the inside of your PDF.
4. File sizes (typical limits)
| Kind | Limit |
|---|---|
| Extra PDF pages | Up to 20 files, 15MB each |
| Word / plain text / images / other supporting files | Up to 5 files, 5MB each |
5. After you click Submit
- You’ll get a reference code — keep it if you email staff about this submission.
- Staff review reports and assemble the town’s compiled annual book (PDF).
- Another department or committee needs a separate submission.
